| WHEREAS, Cochise County has completed
the projects described in Community Development Block Grant Agreement
Numbers 057-02H and 059-02H between the State of Arizona Department of
Housing and Cochise County: and
WHEREAS, there are remaining grant fund balances in CDBG
Contract Numbers 057-02H and 059-02H; and
WHEREAS, Cochise County is one of the eight entities within
the CDBG Program Sub-Region Rotation System established by the South
Eastern Arizona Government Organization: and
WHEREAS, FY01 SEAGO Method of Distribution Elements,
sub-paragraph d. (1) authorizes entities to gift some or all of their
funding to any of the entities within the Cochise County sub-region: and
WHEREAS, the City of Willcox is in need of additional CDBG
funding to complete street improvements as described in Community
Development Block Grant Agreement Number 150-03 between the State of
Arizona Department of Housing and the City of Willcox: and
WHEREAS, the City of Willcox may utilize Cochise County's
remaining funds of $2,251.17 from CDBG Contract #057-02H and $1,575.26
from CDBG Contract #059-02H to complete the street improvements: and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mayor and City
Council hereby accept the Cochise County gifts of Three Thousand Eight
Hundred and Twenty Six Dollars and Forty Three Cents ($3,826.43) of the
remaining FY01 CDBG funds from completed Cochise County contracts
057-02H and 059-02H.
